The 17 piece swing orchestra with Professor and former President of the San Diego Musicians' Association, Jack Wheaton, producer and trumpeter Dominick Addario, vocalist and events coordinator Marie Addario , and concert director, Dave Murray will perform its rousing 13th annual concert celebrating THE BIG BAND ERA.
This indoor pops-like (bring your own wine and appetizers) event, celebrates packs its performances and this concert will be no exception.
The non-profit swing orchestra provides decorations, glasses, table linens and of course the multi-talented musicians who hail from LA, Orange and San Diego Counties. Many of the musicians have played with the bands of the 30's and 40's and Jack Wheaton never misses a chance to recall a good band story or historic note.

The Rancho Santa Fe (RSF) Big Band is a 17-piece swing orchestra of the highest quality that is dedicated to the presentation and preservation of the best big band swing music in America for more than 70 years. Professor Jack Wheaton, former president of the San Diego County Musicians Association of America, has directed the RSF Big Band for several years. Musicians Dr. Dominick and Marie Addario, of Rancho Santa Fe produce this non-profit organization which has contributed all net proceeds to various San Diego County charities, including the Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Family Food Drive, KSDS Radio, RSF Garden Club, RSF Community Center and the greater Rancho Santa Fe community's Fourth of July concert on the green. In 2003, the band performed for over 10,000 people for La Jolla's grand Fourth of July celebration at the La Jolla Cove.
This sensational swing orchestra brings together the very best players in San Diego County who perform the music of the greatest in big swing bands. The line-up includes all-time favorites Pete Deluke, Bob Mathes, Robbie Smith, and Randy Aviles. The band's noteworthy musicians have played with Stan Kenton, Woody Herman, Jimmy Dorsey, Gene Krupa, Buddy Rich, Harry James, Glenn Miller and Les Elgart. Members have also played behind well-known recording artists such as Frank Sinatra, Mel Torme, Sammy Davis Jr., Peggy Lee, Johnny Mathis, Tony Bennett, Lou Rawls, and Natalie Cole.
